I'm a freelance photographer based in Recife, Brazil. 
Specialized in covering urban violence, human rights, and environmental issues. My work is focused on people from the Brazilian Northeast and how they deal with the constant changes in the urban and rural environments in this decade. I'm also one of the recipients of the Yunghi Grant 2018 for my work about the populations struggling with the lack of access to water in the Brazilian northeast.
In 2020 My book "São Francisco", a visual narrative about the Drought in the Brazilian Semi-arid won the Troféu HQMIX festival, the most important Award for comics in Latin America.
